  1. I agree with the guy that wrote the post, because the ideas he have are true, the teen now need some places form them selves places they have the right to write everything they think or they want, and not only write, places where they can be free
and adults just try to prohibite this places; thats why teens now are rebelds.

  2. To start with, I did know what the term sell-out means, at least the meaning Rushkoff was the most familiar with.
While I do believe my generation lives in a commercial world, I disagree with the author saying that we are prived of our freedom.
I hate most of the current pop culture, which is in my opinion completely commercial, as well as everything you see outside, or in T.V. But being online is my decision, not the corner where I go and hide to feel safe.
I actually think otherwise, I feel the internet is keeping me from being free, even though it's the choice I make, and most teens do, to spend my afternoon at the computer, it's hard to get out of it. Why? Because it is as well full with commercial stuff, and it is all available at the palm of our hands, and it also comes with the sweet illusion that makes us think we can say anything and express ourselves online, without being judged or restrained.
I also disagree with MrPukerainbows1 above me, rebellion has always been a thing, not only now, and 'rebels', how he calls teens, actually have a place for themselves, we have the whole world to explore and learn in many different ways.
I've got a lot of things to say and shout to the world, and there are many ways to express myself; the only one that is restraining me of doing it is neither the internet nor adults, it's me.
